Hi all, last weekend saw the north delta bayhawks aussie rules football team play their first ever game. the uniform looked great & the numbers of players was more than reasonable. in great conditions for football out at langley park, the bayhawks played the irish harps in their first ever game, although the result didn`t go our way, I as coach was more than happy with the young players efforts, endeavour & more so with the way they conducted themselves in senior football, in my eyes there are some young players in the bayhawks side that have some serious talent. all in all & very importantly i feel that everyone involved from players, parents & supporters enjoyed the bayhawks` first outing. credit must go to Mike Mcfarlane & Steve Bayley for their combined efforts in getting this side up & running. thank you. A personal thanks also to Roy Fleming for his help on the w/e. Moving to this weekend, the bayhawks are drawn to play against the cougars, this game is to be played at UBC, STARTING at ......1 O`CLOCK.......... I request that players ARRIVE no later than...... 11:45.....so we can go over some things & be organised & ready to go by the 1st bounce,as it is our home game we are required to set up the field & posts among other things... anyone that can arrive at or around 11 o`clock & help with this would be greatly appreciated.. good luck to all, hope to see you at the footy this week..
